Questions companies usually ask before deciding
Do we have to move everything to the cloud, or can we keep it on-premises?
Kingdee supports public cloud, private cloud and on-premises deployment, so you can choose the model that meets your security and governance policies.
Can a group with several legal entities use one system?
Yes. The system is designed for multiple business units and profit centers, supporting multiple accounting standards and inter-company work on a single database.
Can it connect to the systems we already use?
Yes, via API, Web API, database integration and message queues — for sales, payroll or shop-floor systems you still need. We plan the integration sequence in the scope from the start.
How is pricing calculated?
Licenses are annual, based on the number of users and edition, separate from implementation fees based on scope. We quote after an assessment and state clearly what is and is not included.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the number of modules, entities and the readiness of source data, so we set the timeline based on actual scope after the assessment.
What data security standards does the system meet?
The Kingdee platform is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II and CSA STAR. SO sets data access rights according to your delegation of authority (DOA).
Do custom forms or reports require extra development?
Usually not. Kingdee Cosmic provides low-code/no-code tools for building forms, reports and workflows without touching the core code, so upgrades do not break your customizations.
What if our internal team is too small to run the system?
SO can take over operations on the system — such as bookkeeping, purchasing documents or data checks — under a service contract alongside system support.
